Meet Sarah Hanlin: Teen and Adult Christian Therapist

We’re excited to introduce Sarah Hanlin to you at Reviving Hope Christian Counseling in Fort Worth, TX. We know counseling can feel intimidating, and it’s often easier to take that first step when you know your therapist. That’s why we created this video and blog—to help you get to know Sarah and her heart for counseling.

Sarah is a compassionate, Christ-centered therapist who seeks to help her teen and adult clients feel truly understood and cared for.

Sarah Hanlin:

My name is Sarah Hanlin, and I enjoy working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, and grief. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Reviving Hope Christian Counseling."

Why did you become a counselor?

"I became a counselor because I love helping others. I was so blessed to see a counselor for the first time when I was in college, and I saw how deeply it impacted my life. I wanted to offer that same hope and healing to others."

Why do you have a heart for Christian Counseling?

"I have a heart for Christian counseling because it's one of the ways that Jesus calls us to serve one another. It reflects His heart for people so beautifully."

Why do you enjoy counseling teens?

"I enjoy counseling teens so much because they're in such a formative and important stage of their life. I wish that when I was a teenager I'd had someone speaking into my life. Teenagers are unpredictable, funny, honest and often eager to grow and learn.

As a Christian counselor, I work with teens (13 and up) and adults who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, and grief."
